Yes Colin, most of the usual suspects were present today... nice to see you all...

I had hoped for more wind. On arrival it was sunny and there were whitecaps all across the lake. It looked promising so I rigged the 4.7 and while doing so it dropped a little so I rigged the 5.7 at the same time!

I tried out the 83 wave board and quickly I realised it was not the right thing. So I put the fin in the freestyle. For an hour it was great. Wizzing around a few decent jumps and a few half-arsed vulcan attempts resulting in a big SPLASH.

After a cuppa and another hour or so and the wind was dropping, and light rain was falling too. I did a bit of freestyle and helis in between the gusts. By 4pm I was getting a bit bored. Also I had bare feet and it was right on the limit for coldfootness. So a day it was called for I.
